What talents and abilities do I have or would like to develop so I can have impact in the world?
What do I need to do today and from this day forward so that people who come in contact with me are better just by knowing me and are inspired by my excellence?

I think the most important thing is to be an example of what you believe. The only reason we have talents is to make the world we live in a better place by sharing them. Even cheering someone up, making them laugh, or including someone, are talents.

ReplyDeleteA talent I have is writing songs on the piano. This talent doesn't have as big an impact on the world as some other talents might, but music can inspire people or make them feel better when they are sad.
ReplyDeleteAnother talent I have is inventing creative and fun things for kids to do. I babysit a lot and I always invent fun new games that they love. With this talent I can make kids happy and improve their whole day.
To make people better by knowing me and inspire people I need to follow principles that are important to me, such as honesty, integrity, and kindness. I also need to use my talents to make an impact. I have the opportunities and the potential to change the world. By using these opportunities I can focus on something I care about and make a difference in the lives of many people. By doing this I can inspire people with my excellence.
Some abilities that I have are patience and being a good listener. I plan to use these in the future as an elementary school teacher, where I can hopefully impact the world.
ReplyDeleteRecently, I chose to learn american sign language so that I can expand my desire to educate to the hearing impaired. I hope that I will find other ways to continually improve myself.
The talent I have is to understand others and feel others feelings without knowing what happens to them. And because of this ability I decided to learn psychology in the future so that I can help not only illness people, but the people who is normal as well.

I can sit for hours observing something like, a bumble bee with little effort and a lot of patience.
I think this talent can benefit to me (and others) by creating more talents. I hope to expand this talent for ever, to inspire, create and invent.

I think that I can understand others' emotions very well and I like teaching, so I think that I should be a teacher.
ReplyDeleteIf I want others to learn something from me, then I should read some books about teaching and psychology. If a teacher is also a friend to students, then students can learn more things because they like spending time with this teacher. Reading these books can teach me how to listen to others, and that will be useful.
I thought this video was very inspirational. I sometimes have doubted myself or have been doubted by others. Throughout your life, people will tell you, "You're not good enough." or "You have no talent." Its hard to not follow that line of thinking, but if you really believe in yourself, you can prove them wrong. You can do anything you set your mind to. It just takes faith, courage, and persistence.
ReplyDeleteI think that a talent I would like to develop is how to communicate in stressful situations with people better. I would like to do this because for the job I want to have when I grow up, I need to be able to do this. I think something I can work on more is smiling. People remember who smiles, and it rubs off onto others. Great people take time to smile.
